Our customers come to Jeanie’s Vitamin Centre in Comox because they can get professional advice on nutrition and cancer coaching from a certified professional. Jeanie holds five designations in areas such as holistic nutrition, nutritional consulting, and sport nutrition. Here are the services that we provide:  ​

Certified Practitioner    

Jeanie is also a Certified Healthy Breast Practitioner. When she meets with a client for the first time, there will be a ten-minute conversation to determine if coaching is what the client wants and if so, an assessment will be given to them to complete at home and return to Jeanie.

 

Nutritional Assessment and Advice

Jeanie is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist (RHN) and a Registered Nutritional Consulting Practitioner (RNCP). She is currently registered with the International Organization of Nutritional Consultants and the Nutritional Consultants Organization of Canada. When you come in for a nutritional assessment with Jeanie, she will ask you to fill out a comprehensive questionnaire. The questionnaire will take into account factors such as height, weight, sex, level of activity, dietary goals, habits, food preferences and sensitivities.

 

Your answers will be evaluated by Jeanie to assess your specific nutritional imbalances and weaknesses. The results of this analysis will reveal vital information about you and your body such as: 

• Presence of toxins 
• Vitamin and mineral deficiencies 
• Disorders of the stomach and gastrointestinal tract 
• Glandular under or over-activity 
• Suppression of the immune system 
• Presence of parasites and allergies
